From January 2020 to December 2020, the clinical data of 45 children with acute appendicitis who underwent laparoscopic surgery in the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Science and Technology and developed incision infection were included in the occurrence group, and the other data were collected from Henan University of Science and Technology during the same period. The clinical data of 45 children with acute appendicitis who underwent laparoscopic surgery without incision infection in the First Affiliated Hospital were included in the non-occurrence group. The clinical data of the two groups of children were collected, and the related factors that may affect the occurrence of incision infection after laparoscopic surgery in children with acute appendicitis were analyzed. Results The time from onset to admission to hospital for treatment, operation time, use of preventive antibiotics, indwelling abdominal drainage tube, appendix perforation in the occurrence group and the non-occurrence group had statistically significant differences (P<0.05); the establishment of multiple Logistic regression model results showed that ,The time from onset to admission to hospital for treatment>24h, long operation time, no use of prophylactic antibiotics, indwelling abdominal drainage tube, and appendix perforation were the influencing factors of incision infection after laparoscopic surgery in children with acute appendicitis (OR>1, P <0.05). Conclusion The time from onset to admission to hospital for treatment>24 hours, long operation time, non-use of prophylactic antibiotics, indwelling abdominal drainage tube, and appendix perforation are the influencing factors of incision infection in children with acute appendicitis after laparoscopic surgery.
