Comparative analysis of the curative effect of transumbilical single-port laparoscopy and traditional laparoscopy in the treatment of ovarian cysts

27-12-2022

From May 2018 to July 2020, a total of 173 patients underwent cystectomy for ovarian cysts in our hospital. They were divided into observation group (transumbilical single-port laparoscopic surgery group) of 82 cases and control group (traditional laparoscopic surgery group). In 91 cases, the intraoperative and postoperative conditions were compared between the two groups, including operation time, intraoperative blood loss, intra-abdominal rupture of ovarian cyst, postoperative anal exhaust time, postoperative hospital stay, surgical complications, and postoperative 24-hour period. Pain visual analogue scale (VAS), patient incision aesthetic satisfaction score at 3 months after operation, and the preoperative and postoperative ovarian reserve were compared between the two groups, including anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH), luteinizing hormone (LH), Follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and antral follicle count (AFC). Results: In the observation group, the postoperative anal exhaust time was shortened, the postoperative hospital stay was shortened, the 24-hour postoperative VAS was reduced, and the postoperative incision aesthetic satisfaction score was increased, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05); There was no significant difference in operation time, intraoperative blood loss, and intra-abdominal rupture rate of ovarian cysts (P>0.05); AMH was lower than that before operation, and LH and FSH were higher than those before operation in both groups, with significant differences. Statistically significant (P<0.05); serum AMH, LH, FSH levels and AFC number 3 months after operation were not significantly different from those before operation (P>0.05), and there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups (P> 0.05). Conclusion: Single-port laparoscopic surgery can reduce postoperative pain, promote rapid postoperative recovery, and improve postoperative satisfaction in ovarian cyst removal, and its impact on ovarian reserve is not inferior to traditional laparoscopic surgery.
