nasal endoscopic surgery in the use of gelatin hemostatic sponge
Objective:to evaluate the clinical value of gelatin hemostatic sponge in the treatment of chronic rhinosinusitis with endoscopic sinus surgery. Methods:Both groups were treated with functional endoscopic sinus surgery. The study group was treated with gelatin hemostatic sponge to fill the middle nasal canal, and the control group was treated with polymer expansion sponge to fill the nasal middle nasal canal. Lund-Kenn of nasal endoscope was recorded at different time in each group. Edy score and incidence of postoperative adverse reactions. Results: The Lund-Kennedy score of nasal endoscope in the study group was lower than that in the control group 2 weeks after operation, and the Lund-Kennedy score of nasal endoscope in the study group was significantly lower than that in the control group 4 weeks after operation. The incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was lower than that in the control group. Conclusion: After functional endoscopic sinus surgery, gelatin hemostatic sponge was used to fill the middle nasal canal in patients with chronic rhinosinuvitis.
