Comparison of general anesthesia and epidural anesthesia in gynecological laparoscopic surgery

04-07-2023

Sixty-eight patients undergoing gynecological laparoscopic surgery were randomly divided into a general anesthesia group and an epidural anesthesia group, with 34 cases in each group, and received general anesthesia and epidural anesthesia respectively. HR, SBP, DBP, MAP, plasma epinephrine (E), norepinephrine (NE), blood glucose, cortisol levels and blood gas analysis results were monitored before and after pneumoperitoneum. Results After pneumoperitoneum, HR, SBP, MAP and plasma cortisol levels in the two groups were all increased, especially in the general anesthesia group (all P<0.05). E and blood sugar in the general anesthesia group were significantly increased after heaving, but there was no significant change in the epidural group. Compared with the two groups, both P<0.05. Conclusion Compared with general anesthesia, patients with epidural anesthesia in gynecological laparoscopic surgery have less stress response and less impact on circulatory function.
