Feasibility, efficacy and safety of transvaginal single port natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery, v NOTES in the treatment of tubal ectopic pregnancy. Methods The medical records of patients who underwent ipsilateral salpingectomy or salpingectomy due to tubal pregnancy in Beijing Hospital from January 2018 to August 2021 were retrospectively analyzed, and they were divided into vNOTES group (26 cases) and traditional laparoscopy group according to the operation method (29 cases). The patient's age, body mass index, gravidity, parity and B-ultrasound maximum diameter of pregnancy were recorded. The operation success rate, operation time, intraoperative blood loss, postoperative exhaust time, 24h postoperative visual analogue scale (VAS), postoperative complications and postoperative complications were compared between vNOTES and traditional laparoscopic groups. The 3-month scar score and other indicators were used to evaluate the safety and feasibility of transvaginal single-port laparoscopic tubal pregnancy surgery. Results The operations in the vNOTES group were successfully completed without conversion to traditional laparoscopy or laparotomy, and no complications occurred during postoperative follow-up. There was no significant difference in the operation time and intraoperative blood loss between the vNOTES group and the traditional laparoscopy group (P>0.05). Significant (P all = 0.000). In the outpatient re-examination 3 months after operation, the scar score in the vNOTES group [(1.15±0.56) points] was significantly lower than that in the traditional laparoscopy group [(4.54±0.76) points], and the difference was significant (t=-3.987, P=0.000) . Conclusion Transvaginal single-port laparoscopy can safely and effectively complete conservative tubal fenestration and salpingectomy for tubal pregnancy. Transvaginal single-port surgery is less traumatic and has a good postoperative scar-free effect, which is more conducive to the postoperative recovery of patients.
