Safety analysis of multiple bronchoscopy in patients with central airway stenosis
Safety of multiple bronchoscopy in patients with central airway stenosis, especially risk of bleeding. Methods The basic information of the patients with central airway stenosis were collected, and the specific conditions, bleeding and complication rates of the patients during the initial transbronchial biopsy and each subsequent transbronchoscopy treatment were compared and analyzed. At the same time, the influence of the number of bronchoscopy treatment and operation methods on the safety of bronchoscopy treatment was analyzed. Results By analyzing the data of 744 bronchoscopy treatments performed by 362 patients with central airway stenosis, a total of 23 serious complications occurred, and the overall complication rate was 3.09% (95% CI, 2.07%-4.60%). ). Repeated bronchoscopic treatment did not increase the complication rate and did not increase the incidence of serious bleeding. Conclusion Repeated bronchoscopic treatment of patients with central airway stenosis does not increase the incidence of complications, and is a safe and reliable treatment method.
