Observation on the effect of endoscope-assisted precise minimally invasive curettage in the treatment of LOK of mandible
In the minimally invasive treatment of oral and maxillofacial tumors, endoscopic adjuvant therapy has great application prospects. Endoscope provides a bright and clear surgical field of vision and sufficient magnification for the operator, so that the operator can accurately remove the diseased tissue and better understand the pathological conditions during the operation, and can avoid damaging important anatomical structures such as inferior alveolar nerve and blood vessels. Compared with traditional macroscopic curettage, endoscopic curettage has the following advantages: (1) The incision position is hidden and the aesthetic effect is good; (2) Obtaining ideal surgical field of vision through digital imaging technology; (3) Fine operation can be performed by auxiliary surgical instruments to remove the cyst wall tissue as much as possible and reduce the tumor recurrence rate; (4) Minimal surgical trauma to avoid accidental injury of important anatomical structures. For the treatment of long-distance, widely growing polycystic keratocyst and high giant keratocyst, accurate curettage can be realized with the help of endoscope, which greatly reduces the dead angle and cyst wall residue, especially the removal of cyst satellite focus and cyst, and achieves good therapeutic effect, avoiding patients from receiving radical surgical treatment. At the same time, accurate curettage under the guidance of endoscope improves the preservation effect of diseased teeth, which is of great significance to the treatment of adolescent patients.
