Clinical study of open surgery and laparoscopic surgery in the treatment of uterine fibroids

06-09-2022

A total of 80 patients with uterine fibroids admitted to a hospital were selected, all of whom received myomectomy, and two groups were selected according to the surgical method, namely the control group (40 cases) and the research group (40 cases). The patients in the control group received laparotomy, and the patients in the study group received laparoscopic surgery. The perioperative indexes, ovarian function and residual recurrence of fibroids were evaluated and compared between the two groups. Results: The operation time, indwelling catheter time and hospitalization time of the patients in the study group were shorter than those in the control group (P<0.05). ) were lower than those in the control group, and estradiol (E2) was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). B-ultrasound was followed up 3 and 6 months after operation, and the residual rate and recurrence rate of fibroids were compared between the two groups. There was no statistical significance (P>0.05). Conclusion: The application of open surgery and laparoscopic surgery in the treatment of uterine fibroids can effectively remove fibroids and avoid recurrence, but laparoscopic surgery has more significant advantages in improving ovarian function and optimizing perioperative indicators. This is a feasible, safe and effective surgical option, which is worthy of extensive clinical development.
