A clinical controlled study of open release and endoscopic release in the treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome
Carpal tunnel syndrome is the compression of the median nerve that leads to numbness and abnormal sensation in the area dominated by the median nerve. At present, the surgical treatment methods for carpal tunnel syndrome include open release and endoscopic release. 32 patients with carpal tunnel syndrome who were treated in our hospital were selected as research objects and randomly divided into surgical treatment group and endoscopic release. Mirror therapy group, 16 cases in each group. The surgical treatment group received open release, and the endoscopic treatment group received endoscopic release. The operation time, total hospital stay, clinical treatment effect and postoperative complication rate were compared between the two groups.
